Visas & London!

First of all, sorry I haven't posted in so long! Busy busy times with Uni and things.. so anyway, I'm currently on the train back from London! I travelled down last night to go for my Visa interview, I got it granted to so I am going to America you'll be happy to know :) So as we were in London for the day me and my friend (she also had her interview today) and her camp friend decided to be massive tourists and see just how many places we could get round. I should also introduce you to my little travelling buddy; Cruseli :) Yes, he's a little Irish bear, but I figured I need a companion on my adventures right? ;) So this is what we got up to;

ombre hair!

Yes, I finally decided to do something different with my hair! Now no way would I ever dye it fully, but I thought the ends couldn't hurt right? Anyway, I'm liking it and considering it was my first time using any sort of dye at all I think I did pretty well :)

Let me know what you think! :) xox

My new toy!

Yes I finally got it! The Urban Decay 'Naked' palette (as a very late birthday present) and I have to say I'm more than impressed with his beauty! It's so gorgeous I don't even want to take the protector off the mirror never mind actually use it! :') I took a few photos of it for those of you who haven't seen it up close and personal yet - but seriously if you haven't, where have you been the past few months!? So here it is:)...

The British F1 Grand Prix 2011

So, on Sunday we took a trip down to Silverstone to watch the Grand Prix! Despite having to get up at 4am and travel for 4 and a half hours on a coach we got there and it was amazing! Got to see Jenson Button and Prince Harry! One of the best days out ever :) Here are a few photos from our day...

The Arkansas Chuggabug (Chuggz)

Photobucket
Photobucket

This is my car, isn't she beautiful? I named her after the Wacky Races' car but call her 'Chuggz' for short. I didn't want a boring, everyday name for her because she is not boring and everyday, she is special. She's an 04 reg Fiat Punto and I've never loved any'thing' like her (not even my mac!) we didn't get along at first, I hated driving her because she is so light and nippy and petrol (my learner car is diesel, one of the new Corsas - he is a doll too) but I soon learnt to love her, and love driving her, in fact I couldn't have asked for a better first car.

You may be wondering why I'm posting about my car, after all I got her for my 18th over a year ago. Well, today was the day of my driving test! I've been so ready for this for ages, been nervous all week and got a total of about 4 hours sleep last night due to nerves. My instructor and I met about an hour before my test (which was at 10:14am) and I got myself geared up and physced for my test. There were two others waiting for their test too, both of them had their examiners and off they went, I was the last one; nervous, excited, scared, ready, I sat and waited and what should happen? Out comes some small old man with my license and said to me "sorry, but we've had to cancel your test because your examiner is ill, we've rebooked it for 6 weeks time unless you manage to get a cancellation." ...what? At first I thought he was joking but NO full on serious! The disappointment and anger I felt and am still feeling is second to none! I was so ready, and I didn't even get my chance.

So that's why I've decided to dedicate a post to Chuggz, because thanks to the stupid government and their ridiculous schemes for driving she now has to sit on my drive longer, and be driven only with 'L' plates until I finally get my chance to pass. Seems almost, unfair, no?
